Major League Soccer is more than halfway through its fourteenth season and one of the biggest surprises has been the league wide parity. There are no clear cut favorites to win the MLS Cup at this point. In the East the top four teams are just one point apart and in the West, the top three teams are only four points apart. The two front runners (for now) for the Supporters Shield are Seattle (who is helped by a hot start) and Houston (who started slowly but has heated up).
