With the pressure starting to build thanks to the arrival of August, plenty of teams were in need of big results in Major League Soccer play this weekend. 

The usually reliable home form of Sporting Kansas City dropped, while a few individuals were to blame for some costly errors that led to losses.

There were also a few players who finally earned what they deserved this weekend, whether it be a goal or an All-Star selection.
