Week 10 in Major League Soccer was not short of terrific performances. 

Three teams scored five goals and three players scored hat-tricks in a week that saw 39 goals scored across 12 games. 

Among the superb players on the pitch were a pair of rookies who made the race for Rookie of the Year a bit more interesting than it already was.
